Jewellery Inspiration: Judy Blame

I first came across Judy Blame's eye catching collage-like jewellery/ accessories in the Summer 2013 issue of iD magazine which featured a photo shoot mixing both male and female fashion under the title:
be an
individual  go
against the
grain  stand
up speak up
be brave
dont forget
this is who you are

Items from Judy Blame ranged from hats and scarves, necklaces, stickers and brooches, corset, belt clip, ring, cape, T-shirt, bra and tie.

I like that he has created dramatically strong, graphic, statement jewellery for both males and females.

Moment of Fashion Fame; By Shona Coyne

Friday 20th September

I went to London Fashion Weekend for the first time!
It was quite an awesome day with lots of things to look at.  As soon as I arrived the day began with excitement as this quirky ice cream van was parking up. It was selling clothes but it turned out to be a beautifully sunny day so we could have had ice cream!

I started my visit by listening in on the 'Designing for Topshop' talk in the Vodafone lounge which was very interesting! I was standing with my notepad and pen taking notes- I am such a geek hehe.  ;)

There was many beautiful clothes but sadly I didn't buy any!
haha but I did buy a book though from the book shop- which was awesome. I spent a while in there with all the lovely fashion books.

For any jewellery addict this book grabbed my attention just like any glittery bangle or feathered chain!  Fashion Jewellery Catwalk and Couture By Maia Adams.
I was very close to buying a blue paint- splodge skirt which really caught my eye (should have bought it.) Also loved the epic handbags and shoes from KZENIYA LTD http://kzeniya.com/ which were very creative and eye catching; created by a the laser cuter! (Plus they have a really nice video on their website.)

My favourite highlight was when my hot pink cardigan, which my mum knitted back in the nineties, was mentioned by the presenter who was introducing the Trend Catwalk show at 1.30.
It was an awesome moment. haha I was on trend.

My outfit included:
  • Silver metallic skirt from Warehouse- eBay
  • Black walking boots- eBay
  • Black blouse- Primark
  • Cream laced socks
  • Hot pink knitted cardigan- Mums vintage knit collection (ie her wardrobe!)
Again I go somewhere and come back with lots of things to read! But it was awesome-especially for mums knitted cardigan (still in total amazement!!)  and I hope to go again, with Friends, in February!!

Hello To Autum

The seasons have quickly, rapidly, changed in the last week and we are all freezing.  So if you planning on digging out all those jumpers and thick socks - hold on as the Knit Wear Range by Lilac Rose will be along shortly.
This funky, unique collection will most certainly keep you warm as the air gets colder and will be a perfect partner to keeping your super cosy if you dare to take a walk to the park..

Debenhams Advert!

Currently loving this video so much!  I wish I could open doors to find a caraselle in the middle of the room!  :)
