Up with the larks and milkman for an early morning day trip to Stonehenge! I had been years ago and as a result I forgot just how magical and powerful the sight would be! It was going to be a beautiful, really hot day but rain was on the horizon so needed to move fast (he said).
For the car journey (hubby driving) I took my long awaited book to read (got early June and only had time to flick through it) Real Life Journal by Gwen Diehn. www.real-life-journals.blogspot.com
What a super book well worth the wait as it is easy to view and digest with the descriptive diagrams juxtaposed next to in-depth articles centred around the ordinary journalier - you, me, mums and dads and little families! Also lovely treats to find amongst every page especially the little envelope at the front of the book which opens to discover an adorable little book!
